Deep Sea Fishing in the Costa Rica Pacific Ocean

Come to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge and enjoy world-class fishing! Each day, fish with the area's best captains and boats while staying in beautiful rainforest accommodations at Playa Nicuesa. The Pacific Ocean in Southern Costa Rica is one of the best fishing spots in the world for various species, including Sailfish, Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Dorado (Mahi Mahi or Dolphin fish). Also found here in the Gulf are Roosterfish, Snapper, Snook, and large Jackfish.

We use only the area's best captains and equipment. These boats will pick you up in the A.M. at our pier and return you at the end of the day. Full-day tours usually leave Nicuesa at 6:30 am, returning between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. It is approximately 50 minutes to the mouth of the Pacific, and then you will go from 5 to 20 miles.
